The FOERSTER SIGMATEST portable instrument makes it possible to determine the electrical conductivity of non-ferromagnetic metals using eddy current. This allows the identification of mechanical and material properties and the easy monitoring of highly stressed parts. The electrical conductivity is also used for quality control, for example, to determine the purity of metals. In addition, it can also be used to check the homogeneity of alloys as well as the rigidity and hardness.

SIGMATEST: The SIGMATEST portable measuring device determines the electrical conductivity of non-ferromagnetic metals according to the eddy current principle.
