These wires are used for numerous applications such as zippers, chassis springs, and valve springs. Demand for Z-shaped wire, which is used for applications such as overseas cable, is also increasing.

DEFECTOMAT: The DEFECTOMAT product family is used for the precision testing of profiled wired for point and transverse defects in the material.

DEFECTOMAT sensor through-type coil: Various DEFECTOMAT sensor through-type coils adjusted to fit various shapes are available for the testing of profiled wire. Individual solutions tailored to meet customer requirements can also be produced. A specially segmented sensor with floating coil is also available for Z-shaped and flat wire. It automatically compensates the movement of the wire and its six sensors test critical points.

CIRCOGRAPH: The CIRCOGRAPH test instruments are used for reliably detecting longitudinal defects in the material surface. Rotating probes contactless scan the test material surface using eddy current.
