Patented sensor technology with clearance compensation
The DEFECTOARRAY sensor by FOERSTER is the eddy current technology of the future. The patented sensor comprises eight diameter segments with one clearance winding each and facilitates ultra dynamic clearance compensation. This significantly increases the reproducibility of the results and leads to higher output of inspected material. Dimension variations, eccentricity, entry effects, and wobble are also reduced. The defect locations are specified in both longitudinal and circumferential position. The sensors come in diameters from 18 mm to 180 mm and are compatible with sensor systems H, P, and M.
